Timberrrrr!

Ms. Bates has been busy sawing up logs for the Insect Hotel.  The logs then had holes drilled into them. Small insects such as ladybirds, bees and woodlice love to live in holes like these.

Some of the logs have funny faces. Try to find them in our Insect Hotel!

The logs being sawed up.

Holes are drilled into the logs. Lots of sawdust flew about the place!

This log looks very surprised to be joining the Insect Hotel!

Ms. Bates's class thought this log looked like Elmo! Will you be able to find him in the Insect Hotel?

Our first resident! A small woodlouse must have been hiding in the logs!
